The borderlands is home to some of the finest fairways in the UK and are in demand to a growing national and international audience in the golfing world.
From hidden gems to championship challenges the courses in the borderlands are second to none, combining stunning backdrops, breathtaking views and countryside that make golfing a sheer delight.
There are over 50 golf clubs to choose from in the Scottish Borders and Northumberland including the acclaimed Slaley Hall, Roxburghe and Cardrona courses, the latter often described as the ‘Gleneagles of the south.’

The oldest course in the Borders is at Hawick where the 16th hole is know as McLaren’s Miracle - named after the voice of rugby and one of ‘Hawick’s ain,’ Bill McLaren - who once shot a hole in one there.
