A new way to view the Scottish Borders

A new way to view the Scottish BordersA new open top tour, City Sightseeing Scottish Borders, has arrived in the region.

Operated by Borders Buses, the hop-on and hop-off tour will allow visitors the opportunity to explore historical attractions and stunning views, which make the Scottish Borders an outstanding tourist destination.

The tour includes Abbotsford House (h0me of Siur Walter Scott), Melrose and Dryburgh abbeys, Trimontium roman museum, the William Wallace Statue and Scott’s View. In between the tour captures the beautiful rolling countryside and introduces a host of bustling cafes, bars and boutique shops.

Tours, lasting approximately one hour and 30 minutes, operate every Saturday and Sunday, at two hourly intervals, between 10am and 4pm and 10:20am and 4:20pm respectively.

Tickets, which are available from the driver or online, can be used on a hop-on hop-off basis. The tickets include adult £8, £6 concessions/children and £23 for a family.
